| Design: | Narrow bands with geometrical patterns of ecru on dark beige. Coloured only with use of earth pigments (tanah lumpur). No vegetable dyes. Two broad horizontal band with small patola jilamprang motifs. The pinstripes in the roa, the midfield, appear to be distinctive: they are found on Raijua, not on Savu. |

| Comment: | Rare old piece in excellent condition. Small sarongs of this type were made for ceremonial use at the occasion of the birth of a child, serving as the cloth in which they baby was received. They were never worn, but placed in the rumah adat and kept there. |
